Well, romance fans, it's over. The long wait to find out just who -- if anyone -- "Bachelor" Sean Lowe decided to pop the question to came to an end on Monday night.
Lindsay Yenter and Catherine Giudici were the last women vying for Sean's heart, and the Texan had a tough time making the pick while in Thailand.
?We?ve been through so much so far, and I honestly think I could marry both of these women and have healthy, successful marriages,? Sean said.
Of course, marrying both of them was exactly an option -- at least not a legal one.
In the end, he did indeed drop to one knee for one of them, and it wasn't Lindsay.
"Lindsay, this is the toughest thing I've ever had to do," Sean told her before explaining that he turned to prayer to make sure he made the right decision. "I have to say goodbye to you."
Until that emotional moment, the teacher was sure she'd found Mr. Right. But while Lindsay's planned "best day" didn't turn out so great, Catherine's "coolest day" exceeded her expectations.
"I knew from the beginning that you were someone I wanted to be around," Sean said to Catherine. "I think the world of you, and I miss you every time we say goodbye. ? I don't want to say goodbye anymore."
Bling! That's when Sean made it official and asked Catherine to stop saying goodbye -- forever.
The sure-to-be-together-forever couple then hopped on the nearest elephant and rode off into the sunset
